Kurisu "Chris" Yamino

Chris is an 11 year old girl, possibly one of the youngest people in the world to understand HTML. She started using the Internet when she was 8, but she merely played games in an Internet Cafe. Then her mother bought a family PC when she was 9, and that was when things got interesting. Since Chris was a fan of the anime Digimon, she bought a Digimon magazine, and this magazine advertised a site called "Digital Starlight". She went there and decided to post on the Tag board, using the alias "gatomon". She quickly became well known and joined the DS forum. After sometime, the DS forum closed down and she was forced to move to RXN (she had already been a member there at the time but this forced her to become active since she had been promoted to moderator). She quickly made many friends and would be insane without them. She has also joiend other forums, her favourite being AN.

Obsessions

Chris has several obsessions, mainly linked into Japan. Her anime obsessions aren't as vast as could be, but her manga ones certainly are. Her obsessions include:

Names

Chris has gone through several Internet name changes in her 3 years on the Net. She started off as gatomon, later changing to Chris, then experimenting with surnames like "Minamoto" and "Kunamoto". Another Chris joined RXN, forcing her to change her name there to "Chris-the-Girl", although she can still be refered to as "Chris". She also has an alternate screen name, "yaminokurisu", which spawned her current name "Kurisu 'Chris' Yamino".
